The church house was originally built in 1908 and we have extensively and lovingly renovated it, providing every modern comfort whilst retaining its Greek charm.
Whilst the house is fully air-conditioned, the ground floor bedrooms (two double and one twin) are the perfect respite from the heat with their one metre thick walls, tiled floors and Moorish style beds. The large wet room and utility room are also on this floor.
An archway leads up from the cool interior to a shady courtyard filled with scented jasmines and a lazy hammock.
Leaving the courtyard, steps take you to the spacious first floor terrace with wonderful views across the bay of Poros and the mountains beyond. The terrace is a fabulous setting for al fresco dining with a traditional wood burning bread oven and barbeque shaded by overhead sails.
From the terrace you enter the open lounge and dining area with its’ cool polished concrete flooring and comfortable modern furnishings and off this our fully equipped galley style kitchen and an additional cloak room.
The church house is our Greek home and as such we hope we have filled it with everything you might need for a relaxing break. In the fridge you will find beer, local wine and water to help cool you down on arrival.
In addition the house has an LCD tv, blue ray player, Bose i-pod dock, iron and…a hairdryer! During your stay you will have use of our Greek pay as-you-go mobile 0030 694 3946815 and a dongle for internet access.
All bed linen, towels and beach towels are provided.
We would not recommend the Church House for anyone with small children (under 5 years).
